For over 25 years, FT Consulting’s home has been nestled in the heart of Singapore’s business district along Cecil Street. This office has been more than just a workspace; it has been a cornerstone of our journey, brimming with energy, memories, and milestones.
As we prepare to turn the page to a new chapter at 208A Telok Ayer Street, Level 2, from 25 November 2024, we bid farewell to 100 Cecil Street, which will soon undergo redevelopment by the landlord. This transition gives us a moment to reflect on the sights and sounds that have made this space so special.
The Buzz of the CBD
From the bustling chatter in the pantry to the rhythmic hum of office activities, the atmosphere at 100 Cecil Street has always resonated with the pulse of Singapore’s dynamic business ecosystem. The view from level 12, overlooking a landscape of iconic skyscrapers and the historic charm of Chinatown served as a daily reminder of the growth and progress that have shaped both this city-state and our firm.
The White Marble Table: A Witness to History
Among the many memorable elements of our office, one stands out for its longevity and significance—our white marble table. In use since 1991, this timeless piece of furniture has been a steadfast companion through decades of milestones and moments.
Beyond its role as a gathering spot for meetings and discussions, the marble table holds a special place in history. It was around this very table that the Franchise Association of Singapore was founded in our Founder, Mr Tan Thuan Seng’s residence—a pivotal moment that cemented its legacy as a cornerstone of collaboration and progress in the franchising industry.
The white marble table carries the stories and successes it has witnessed over the years. It serves as a reminder of our roots and the enduring values that continue to guide us in serving our clients and partners.
A Meeting Place for Ideas
This office has been the backdrop for countless brainstorming sessions, client collaborations, and workshops that have shaped transformative growth strategies. One standout initiative, i-Loft, saw our team reimagine a room into a vibrant, innovation-driven space, fostering thought-provoking discussions and inspiring us to continuously push boundaries and redefine possibilities.

Beyond the professional engagements, 100 Cecil Street has been a place of camaraderie. Lunchtime conversations over coffee and bubble tea, celebrations of team milestones, and impromptu steamboat gatherings and baking sessions have all been part of what made this office our second home.
