FLAsia 2024: Bridging Sustainability and Business Growth

It’s a wrap at Franchising and Licensing Asia (FLAsia) 2024! From 12th to 14th September, the event proved once again why it stands as Asia’s premier franchising and licensing marketplace, expertly presented by the Franchising & Licensing Association (Singapore). The dynamic gathering brought together distinguished brand owners, business leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs, providing an exceptional platform for networking, business growth, and brand expansion across the Asian market.

Engaging with Regional Audiences: Over 100 Enquiries Garnered

One of the standout achievements from FLAsia 2024 was the volume of interest generated. Throughout the three-day event, FT Consulting, along with our co-exhibitors, garnered over 100 local and overseas enquiries. This impressive response underscores the growing demand for franchising and licensing opportunities across Asia, as well as the strength of our consultancy services in driving business expansion.

Sustainability in Action: EConnect

At FT Consulting, our focus this year was clear: to inspire and accelerate sustainable business growth through innovation and strategic collaboration. Our experiential booth, EConnect, symbolised this mission, bridging the gap between eco-conscious initiatives and dynamic business connections. Designed with sustainability in mind, the entire exhibition space featured a unique fleet of planes, representing the limitless potential of businesses that embrace environmentally friendly practices.

We are particularly proud of the sustainable design of our exhibition. All structures and furniture were made from 100% recyclable and reusable cardboard, using the fold-and-lock method that eliminated the need for tools or glue. These materials are FSC-certified, ensuring that they meet the highest environmental and social standards. With this eco-conscious approach, we not only minimised our environmental footprint but also demonstrated how sustainability can seamlessly integrate with modern business.

We were honoured to host Senior Minister of State Low Yen Ling at our exhibition space on Day 1, where we had the opportunity to introduce her to the exciting and innovative F&B concepts featured at our booth. This was a proud moment for FT Consulting as we highlighted the brands that are shaping the future of the F&B industry with creativity and sustainable business practices.

[Enrich] Panel Discussion - "The Power of Brand Licensing"

Another highlight was the panel discussion moderated by our Executive Chairman, John Ong, titled "The Power of Brand Licensing: How Strategic Collaboration Can Help Scale Your Business." This session delved into innovative licensing models and brand collaborations, showcasing how companies can unlock growth in today’s competitive market.

[Enrich] A Workshop for Aspiring Franchisees - "I Do, or I Don’t?"

Aspiring franchisees and exhibitors joined us for an engaging workshop titled "I Do, or I Don’t? Making the Smart Choice About Franchise Ownership." This interactive session, led by our Senior Consultant Kelly Yeo, offered valuable insights into the franchise journey.

Participants learned:
